Scientific Writing Workshop OH TARGET, Bogota – Colombia 2024

Join us for the Scientific Writing Workshop OH-TARGET, Bogota 2024, aimed at facilitating and promoting the publication of research results, especially those activities conducted under the One Health approach and within the OH-TARGET project.

Target Group:

This workshop is designed for participants within the CIH network who possess data from projects aligned with the One Health approach. This includes network researchers, alumni, and graduate students from partner universities who have been involved in projects under this framework.

Number of Participants:

Limited to 20 individuals, including the coordinating team.

Language:

Spanish will be used for content review. However, the language for article writing will depend on the "Target Journal" and may include English, Portuguese, or Spanish.

Participation Requirements:

To ensure the success of the workshop, participants are required to:

1. Project: Participants must have been involved in the development of a concrete research project under the One Health approach, with data and results not previously published. Priority will be given to projects funded by CIH OH-TARGET Network Funds.

2. Objective for the Article: Clear and specific objectives for the article are essential, following the SMART criteria (Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, Time-bound).

3. Data to Analysis: Participants must have access to relevant data for analysis, whether primary data collected by themselves or secondary data from other studies, databases, or repositories.

4. Individual Paper: Each participant will work on developing an article individually during the workshop, adhering to ethical criteria, avoiding plagiarism, and acknowledging the contributions of co-authors.

5. Participation in Online Preparation Course: Prior to the face-to-face activities of the workshop, selected authors must complete an online course covering project description, article objectives, and statistical analysis of the data.
