After more than a decade of experience in development cooperation in the field of medical education and research, the CIHLMU has won another major project, titled OH-TARGET (One Health Training and Research Global Network). This project is a part of the program Exceed - Higher Education Excellence in Development Cooperation, funded by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) for the period of five years, from 2020 until the end of 2024.

Objectives
The aim of the OH-TARGET project is:
- to improve global health conditions by understanding structural health problems caused by the living environment;
- to develop context-specific solutions in a holistic and participatory approach to development cooperation;
- Focus: Education and Training;
- Research = means of imparting research competence;
- Training methods: competence-based pedagogy and activating learning methods including ICT based training.

The OH-TARGET project aims to achieve its objectives through a diverse range of targeted activities and partnerships, including:
