A Telemedical Forum service on Infectious Diseases and Tropical Medicine, but with a focus on “COVID-19 Infection Prevention and Control (IPC)” has been running from April to June 2020 at the Division of Infectious Diseases and Tropical Medicine (DIDTM) at the University Hospital (LMU) Munich.
The forum will be launched for a second period now, from 10 May until 28 June 2021.
Please have a look at our CIHLMU
event calender.
Aim:
The aim of the service is to provide a platform for awareness raising and discussion on COVID-19 associated challenges in COVID-19 related IPC, and COVID-19 affected teaching and capacity development in health care.
Design:
A fixed Telemedical Forum timeslot will be established (at the time of writing each Monday, 15:00 to 16:00 CEST). The communication will be organized by DIDTM. At the time of writing, the envisaged communication tool is Zoom. Timeslots can be booked via email only by the partner site coordinator, at least 3 working days in advance (usually by Wednesday of the previous week). Communication can be conducted as bilateral communication, or if suitable as multilateral tele-conference call.
