
Course content:
The online course "Comprehensive approach to Occupational Safety and Health" consists of asynchronous interactive online sessions on the following topics:
- Introduction to occupational safety and health
- Relevance of occupational health for public health
- Occupational Safety and Health promotion
- Risks and Hazards
- Monitoring in occupational safety and health
Learning objectives:
At the end of the course the participants will be able to:
- Define the concept of occupational health, according to WHO
- Identify at least two of the main objectives of occupational health, as defined by WHO
- Identify at least six factors that determine the health of workers
- Recognize the relevance of occupational safety and health in the field of public health
- Outline general information about the occupational safety and health system in their home country
