6. Regulations

  1. Please note that there is a fee of 600 EUR for this course. The CIH Teaching and Training Unit will contact you with further information regarding payment arrangements. Registration is not complete until the course fee has been paid in full.
  2. Cancellation policy: For cancellations made before the registration deadline, a non-refundable fee of 100 EUR will be charged. For cancellations made two weeks prior to the start of the course, a non-refundable fee of 300 EUR will be charged. In case of no-shows or cancellations from the start of the course, the full course fee will be charged.
  3. Attendance policy: Attendance of the entire course is a pre-requisite for the award of ECTS credits. As the course will be conducted in Cape Coast, Ghana, course participants must arrive before the start of the course. A missed first day cannot be made up and will result in exclusion from the Advanced Module without the possibility of a refund of the course fee (no-show).
  4. Please note that you will have to organize and pay for your own travel and accommodation. However, since the course covers a One Health topic, you are welcome to apply for our One Health Travel and Accommodation Scholarships.
  5. Depending on where you are coming from, please initiate the visa application process in due time.
  6. All CIH Advanced Modules include mandatory pre-reading assignments. If the course facilitator determines that the reading material has not been read, this may result to immediate exclusion from the course with no refund of the course fee. Pre-reading assignments are delivered at least two weeks prior to the start of the Advanced Module.
  7. The successful completion of all assignments is a prerequisite for the award of ECTS credits. Non-submitted assignments (including post-course assignments submitted more than 2 weeks after the submission deadline), will be graded as failed, without the possibility of a re-sit, and participants will no longer be eligible for ECTS credits.
  8. Please email the CIH Teaching and Training Unit in advance if you will be unavailable for an extended period of time until the start of your course so we are notified in case we need to contact you.
