Furthermore, PAHS is committed to introducing a PhD program in Public Health soon. In 2016, PAHS established the School of Nursing and Midwifery (SoNaM) with Bachelors to Masters level courses in different specializations whereas School of Allied Health Sciences is in the process of establishing to train more healthcare professionals.
In 2018, PAHS became a CIHLMU partner with the establishment of the Advanced Module “Public Health Systems - Challenges and Opportunities: The Case of Nepal.” The CIHLMU PhD Program International Health alumnus Dr. Deepak Paudel has been involved in the establishment of the course. Since then, it has been running annually as an in-presence course. Participants are PAHS candidates and CIHLMU program candidates alike. The course has received also tropEd accreditation.
